Not paying attention, gazing off into space, chatting when they should be listening, dragging their feet when they should be running... typical stuff for their age group but very frustrating for us, the coaches.
We thought it was a good idea to change the routine.
So, for a change today, we trained the girls on the beach.
What a great idea! There was very little to no reference to netball, just fitness training and lots of games.
Shame that the sun was going down but much fun was had !
I have many good photos of the afternoon, but I needed to be careful & choose a photograph that didn't show faces ! - to protect the innocent??
If you click on the photo to enlarge it, in the background, you can see Surfers Paradise skyline... and on the water there was one surfer..even though the surf was ..err not up?
Water was warm !
Ive still got sand under my toenails !

Quite unashamedly, we are bribing the girls.
If they concentrate on normal netball training.. we will take them to the beach more often for a non-netball training..fitness & fun with some ball skills hidden in the games.
Gawd I hope they behave at normal training..cause I enjoyed the beach so much ! So many gorgeous views there.. and im not just talking about the scenery on the horizon !
