Ive left this blog for 4 days before I posted. I had nothing remotely nice to say.
I worked at that job for 21 days.. equates to the one month trial I agreed to give them.
I drove 200kms per week for this job....
Worked my ass off - many more hours than I should have. Hours that were worked in 'lieu' but will now never be reclaimed by me.

Yep, boss man had me set up the office - working for $19 ph (much lower wage than I should get for that work load), then released me from employment and, now that the job was all set up - brought his daughter in .... We were due to renegotiate for a decent rate of pay on Monday morning. Friday afternoon I lost my job.
In his words " You did nothing wrong - there was no problem - we just want to trial someone else". Then when I put him under pressure.. questioning why, if you were happy with me, would you wish to bother trialling someone else... admitted that his daughter was comin to work for him.
There are names for people like this...
karma... I believe, will get its own

did i mention hubbys bosses wanted him to take on second chef position for $1 per hour, aka $24/week, no other benefits
awa = no weekend penalties

People are bastards. Firmly believe that.That way just occasionally we receive great happiness when someone isnt a bastard.
They simply are not worthy of you. Not many people are worthy of you my friend.
Feed the ducks, catch some fish, lick your wounds or better still get a tall german man too... suck the flavouring off all the biscuits and put them back into the packet...whilst sitting on the sofa for two days with really really corny movies and the worlds daggiest comfy t-shirt and no knickers.... And accidently consume more bottles of wine than you can count....
And then - something will turn up that will be perfect. Even if it is completely strange and wierd. Make paper hats out of the job pages in the newspaper too. Just dont let anyone catch you wearing the newspaper pirate hat (ie dont collect the mail wearing it)and above ALL.. restrain from telling people they are fuckwits.
That latter bit always sits hard with me. And I am not sure why that is one of the rules.
Oh - another good cheer up is cook madly for four days... and when you realise you have way too much food and have run out of people to feed.. take it to the local shelter and dont tell your family you accidently spent the grocery budget again. Don't put the stuff in the freezer because three months later you wont remember what the hell it is.

Here nepotism is more than ppl's second nature... it's their FIRST nature.
Worry not J, a wiseman said that good things happen to good ppl, you just have to wait, or... ;)
PS. I sure CAN think of names for ppl like that guy :D
And that darl is why I work through a temp agency, there is always someone out to shaft you.
At least you know your own worth.
Karma is a great thing the only problem is it takes so long to come around, I prefer instant revenge.
